AFTERNOON UP-DATE **** Hey folks time for a bit of a visual on todays waves down at Uluwatu . As ya’s can see in these latest photos to come outta Indonesia we have that wave height was pumping through in the 4-6ft class down on Ulu’s Main Peak . There was only around a total of 30 surfers in the water while we were on the scene. Perfect conditions and some nice tube rides with clean off-shore wind. I’ve also managed to load up another batch of 10 tube rides for the bogie board riders on their page as well. Back here in Tuban now @ 2.30pm there’s still plenty of waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Aiport Left in the 3-4ft+ range but the ESE Tradewind has well and truelly kicked in and blowing hard off-shore @ 10-15knot . Earlier I had a good look at a few of the swell prediction websites on offer and it’s looking good here in Bali for at least another 7-10days with a couple more swell systems still in transit up the Indian Ocean. Ok then my friends take it easy out there and for heavens sake try and get yaselves on a flight to Bali ASAP .
MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com daily surf and weather report. The only website that brings ya the run down on what’s happening over here seven days a week . This mornings 6.30am surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing a nice little increase in wave height with 3-5 foot of perfection breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . The tide was still at the mid range stage at the time but is gunna be running in for a solid 2.4mtr High around 11.00am. Then it’ll be emptying out for a reef exposing 0.1mtr Low around 5.00pm this afternoon. Wind direction was already coming lightly outta the ESE @ 3-6knot and clean off-shore between Legian and Uluwatu . Kuta Reef was peeling off perfect waves but only in the shoulder to head high range with the occasional 4 footer.thrown in. And already something like 15 surfers in the water. Middle Reef was also breaking pert near perfectly but with a bit more gusto in the 3-4ft+ class. Aiport Left didn’t have any wave shortage either, breaking cleanly in the 2-3ft+ range, but only running for 20-25yrds before fizzing out into the channel. This morning while the tide is still running in you’d also find some good waves breaking at Balangan and maybe even something a little more mellow around the point at Dreamland. Uluwatu would be smoking with waves in the 4-5ft+ range on the Main Peak and Temple sections. For the Afternoon Low tide Bingin and Impossible’s would definitely be on the cards and maybe some Racetrack barrels at Ulu. Yesterday I managed to load ya’s up another 2 New Video Clips of “Bol” and Garut tearing it up at Uluwatu so make sure ya click through the baliwaves video section and check em out. We’ve now got 154 video’s on display for your pleasure. And here’s a tip, if you want to know what the surf is like through any given month of the year here in Bali just mouse over the video clips until you find the particular time frame your interested in and see what the waves are like. Same with our Surfing Photo Galleries. Last night if any visitors were looking up in sky between 6.45pm and 8.00pm they woulda been watching a freaky Lunar Eclipse , pretty spectacular and a not too common event. Ok that’s us for now but we might have some new images for ya’s later this afternoon. As soon as the bank opens I’ve gotta go and pay a years worth of TAX all in one go… So do us a favor and buy a baliwaves.com T-SHIRT and help us to keep running this stuff. You can find the link over on the right hand side of this page in the MENUE . I tell ya’s what I’ll give the first 50 surfers AU$10.00 off the price but you’ll have to email us first ok ! Before I go I gotta say a big Hello to all the surfers that have been calling into the Dewi Sri Live Seafood Restaurant here in Tuban over the last couple of weeks. So if your around these parts make sure ya drop by between 7.00-9.00pm and say hello.
