Bali Surf Report – September 11 2007

MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE **** Hello surfers and thanks for dropping by for the run down on todays surfing and weather conditions here on the happy little (surf riddled) holiday island of Bali . Well this morning there’s still plenty of waves on offer at the Outer Reefs here in Tuban . Wave height has dropped off a touch but still holding in the shoulder to head high plus range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . I was down on the beach doing the visual at 8.30am while the tide was running up for a 2.2mtr High set for 10.00am. The wind was light on-shore coming outta the West @ 1-3knot but surfing conditions were clean, glassy and will only improve when the Tradewind kicks in around mid morning. Kuta Reef was doing 2-3ft+ set waves that were peeling off for a good 80yards+. Middle Reef was pretty much the same size but the occasional bigger set wave. Middle’s will be at it’s best when the tide starts it run down for the 0.3mtr Low happening around 4.00pm this afternoon. Airport left wasn’t receiving as much size but there were waves to surf in the shoulder to head high range. Weather wise there’s no complaints, just blue sky and sunshine. These new photos I’ve loaded up for ya’s were take at two different locations, Uluwatu down on the southern end of the island. Medewi way up on the west coast of Bali , just to keep some variety flowing for ya’s. Ok and over the next few days I’m going to be out of town up in the mountains of north eastern Bali for a very special occasion but I’ll still try and load some new images of the scenery while I’m away.
