Bali Bodyboarding Report – September 15 2007

MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy folks and it’s good to be back here in Tuban again after spending the last 3 days up in the mountains taking care of some very special stuff. Old Slim has finally gone and got himself all married to his long time Balinese girlfriend Ayu. I’ll try and get a few photos of the wedding ceremonies loaded onto the baliwaves.com over the next week as soon as I can get everything rolling normally again. Apparantly according to the boys staying here at Home Base there hasn’t been too much happening surf wise while I was away, so we havn’t missed too much. This morning when I went down for a surf check of the Outer Reefs there’s still not much going down surf wise. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was lucky to be pushing the 1-1ft+ range . The tide was way out for a 0.2mtr Low @ 6.30am so the reef was just pretty much exposed and dry. The wind was coming cleanly outta the ESE-SE and straight off-shore between Legian and Uluwatu at 4-8knot . Weather wise around this part of Bali it’s pure holiday stuff with loads of blue sky and sunshine . I’d imagine the midday temperature will be in the low 30’s on the Celsius scale. Ok that’s about all I’ve got for ya’s so far today, but we’ll see what happens later on. For now I’ve whacked another batch of photos that my good friend Scott Thompson captured up at Canggu , plus the bodyboarder page has also got another batch loaded up. Tomorrow morning we’ll be taking the camera team down to Uluwatu to get ya’s some more high quality images and video.
