Bali Surf Report – September 17 2007

MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning friends and thanks for calling in for a look at todays surf and weather conditions here in Bali . Well Dewa Made has just got back from checking the waves on the Outer Reefs of Tuban . So at 6.30am the word is that we’ve got 2-4ft+ range breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . The tide has still got a little ways to go before it hits the bottom of 0.2mtr Low set for around 7.30am. But even so there were a few dawn patrollers surfing a very shallow Kuta Reef @ 2-3ft. Middle Reef was looking the best, with slightly more size , but this stage there wasn’t any one on it. Airport Left had 2-2ft+ waves and will improve as the tide turns to run back in for a 2.0mtr High around 1.30pm this afternoon. Just going off this information I’d have to imagine that there’d be some ok waves breaking down at Bingin this morning in the shoulder to head high range. The Racetrack at Uluwatu would more than likely be smoking through some tube rides. And of course Balangan would have some head to head high plus action when the tide starts to run back in. Weather wise outside there’s absolutely no wind and we’ve got total cloud cover upstairs. I had a good luck at the swell prediction charts last night and it looks like our new swell should be starting to pulse through by later this afternoon. So there’s gunna be waves at every location here along Bali ’s famous west coast . Ok there’s plenty to do around here so that’ll do us for now, I’ll try and get yesterdays video footage from Uluwatu loaded up for ya’s around mid morning.
