Bali Bodyboarding Report – September 22 2007

MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Howdy crew, and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com for the daily surf and weather report . Like I mentioned yesterday we had our guest photographer Scott. T. down on location at Dreamland and these are some of the photos he brought back for us to show you guys. Scott said actual surfing conditions were a bit sketchy but there were two local boys in the water not having any trouble tearing it up. He also said there were plenty of pretty girls looking real fine down along the beach. Ok this morning I went down for a perusal of todays surfing condions on the Outer Reefs at 7.00am . Wave height has finally dropped back a peg or two but still there are plenty of waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Rights in the 2-4ft+ range. The tide was just starting to run out from a 1.7mtr High that occurred at 6.00am and the wind was light on-shore coming outta the North @ 1-2knot . Out on Kuta Reef there were half a dozen or so surfers and for the first time in a week the waves were actually peeling off and wrapping back around the reef at 2-3ft (head high sets). Middle Reef was still a bit iffy and mainly closing out @ 3-4ft+. I couldn’t see any surfers catching waves. Airport Left was looking ok @ 2-3ft+ and one of our Home Base guests took my advice and snuck around to Airport Rights . He reckons he virtually had it to himself for the first 45mins before being joined by one other surfer. Wave height was similar to Airport Left @ 2-3ft+, he also mentioned it was some of the better waves he’s surfed over the last couple of weeks. Weather wise today the sky is still a little gloomy with some high cloud cover, but never the less we’ll still be in for another hot and humid day here in Bali . Alrighty then, we’ve also got some fresh surf reports and photos on site for ya’s live from the SUPER BANK and from the wave riddled MENTAWAI ISLANDS .
