Bali Surf Report – September 8 2007

MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello folks, welcome to the weekend here on the baliwaves.com daily surf and weather report . Ok so this morning when I went down for the surf recon of the Outer Reefs , I was pretty happy to actually see some micro sized waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left . That was around 7.30am while the tide was still suffering from a 1.8mtr High water line. Then when I went back for another look around 10.30am there were even a few surfers in the water out on Airport Left catching some waist to waist high plus waves. But there wasn’t really much worth surfing on Kuta or Middle Reefs . The wind is blowing hard outta the E-ESE @ 10-14knot and straight off-shore between Legian and Uluwatu. I’ve also received a couple of sms surf reports from around the place and the first one was from up the coast at Medewi . There were some fun little waves up there earlier in the waist to waist high plus range. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy for the 10-12 surfers in the water through until 10.00am when the Tradewind came up blowing cross-shore. The second sms came through from JR and Dan who are currently over at G-Land . The lads from Cali said there were some ok head to head high plus waves breaking on Kongs but still pretty small down through Moneytree’s . Right at the moment we’ve got Dewa Made down at Uluwatu armed with a 3 chip video camera shooting some new footage for you guys to check out later this evening. Weather wise around Bali there’s a bit of cloud around today but she’s still pretty warm outside with a touch of high humidity involved. So surf wise everything appears to be on track and Sunday is looking good for surfing , and I know I’m due for some of that.
