Bali Surf Report – October 1 2007

**** Good morning surfers and welcome back to the one and only baliwaves.com daily (7/7) surf and weather report . Ok I was down sussing out surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs at 7.00am this morning. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airports had taken a severe nose dive in height and dropped down into the 1-2ft class . The tide was way out for a fully reef exposing 0.2mtr Low that was happening at the time. Absolutely no wind was present so what waves there were, were silky smooth and glass like . Nothing to ride on Kuta Reef or Airports but Middle Reef did have a few surfers out there catching the odd shoulder high set wave . The only other places where you’d find some surf today would be down south at Uluwatu which would also only be in the shoulder to head high range. Plus you’d also be able to find yourself a little beach break to ride anywhere up along the Kuta to Legian stretch of beach. Weather wise outside it’s great looking day coming on for the beach lovers, nothing but blue sky and sunshine around this part of the island. The temperature will easily be busting into the early 30’s on the Celsius scale, while the water temp is starting to warm up to around the 24 degree C mark. Tomorrow I’m hoping for a slight increase in wave height because the surfers staying with us here at Home Base are planning a little road trip surf mission . But you’ll have to wait until tomorrow afternoon when we get back to see the results ok. For now I’m just about to load ya’s up another surfing video clip from down at Uluwatu on the 29^th of Sept featuring Uluwatu local surfer Made Lapur.
