Bali Surf Report – October 13 2007

**** Good morning crew and welcome to the weekend on baliwaves.com. We were down sussing out surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban at 6.00am, but there wasn’t much to be sussing out. The tide was a dry reef exposing 0.2mtrs at the time, and wave height was lucky to be breaking in the 6” range . The wind was blowing light off-shore coming outta the ESE @ 1knot , but like yesterday will increase into the 10knot strength by midday. Off-shore direction between Legian and Uluwatu . No chance of getting in a wave at Kuta Reef or Airports but the sell prediction charts are showing a slight boost in wave height anytime in the next 12-24hrs . If we do start to get a pulse there might be a few small waves found on Middle Reef . Even down at Uluwatu I think you’d be hard pressed to find wave height bigger than waist high at best. Weather wise outside today there’s a bit of cloud hanging about but as the wind picks up in strength we should be looking at another very hot day here on the holiday island of Bali . These current photos were shot down at Uluwatu yesterday and I was pretty surprised to see wave height still holding in the 2-3ft class . But the waves do appear to be bigger than what they actually were is because the photos (Scott Thompson) were taken from 20mtrs above up on top of the cliff.
