Bali Bodyboarding Report – October 5 2007

**** Good morning friends of Bali and thanks for dropping by for a look at todays surfing and weather conditions around this part of the holiday island . I went down for a look at the Outer Reefs at 7.00am and wave height has actually improved a touch. There were waves breaking in the 2-3ft range (waist to head high) between Kuta Reef and Airports . The tide is still running out at the moment, heading for 0.8mtr mid range Low tide @ 10.00am and will then be running back in for a 1.4mtr High around 4.00pm . At the moment the wind is still light and variable but surfing conditions were still clean and glassy . Hopefully we’ll see some more of that off-shore ESE-SSE wind at some stage of the day ? There were a few surfers already in the water at Kuta Reef riding some waist to chest high waves . Middle Reef was easily in the shoulder to head high class and looking the best bet for a paddle on the Outer Reefs. Airport Left also had a few surfers out there with wave height breaking in the waist to shoulder high class . Back down on the Southern end of island at Uluwatu you’d also be looking at 2-4ft of swell and more waves peeling down the Racetrack section . Possibly Impossible’s would also have a few 1-3 footers bending down the reef as well. Weather wise outside and we’ve got some thinish cloud cover over us and there were a few drops of rain falling through the early hours. But never the less it’ll still be another hot and humid day here in the tropics. Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you’ll find that 1AU$=Rp8,000 – 1US$=Rp9,280.
