Bali Surf Report – October 9 2007

**** Good morning folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for the run down on todays surf and weather conditions here in Bali . I made my first recon of the Outer Reefs of Tuban at 6.15am and wasn’t surprised to see that wave height has dropped back into the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airports . The tide wa still running in for a 2.0mtr High set for 9.00am and then running down for a 0.5mtr Low at 3.00pm. Wind direction was coming lightly outta the North West at 1knot and on-shore for starters. If the wind has got some North in it you’ll find clean off-shore conditions on the beach breaks of Seminyak, likewise at Canggu, Balian and Medewi. And when the wind is outta the ESE you’ll find the wind direction on-shore at those locations. There were a few hardy surfers out surfing on Kuta Reef and Airport Left but wave height was only just in the waist high at best. These current photos we’ve got for you were taken by Scott Thompson at Canggu early yesterday morning before the ESE’r made it’s presence felt. Weather wise this morning we’ve had a few drops of rain and there’s still a bit of cloud hanging about. Temperature wise the mercury and humidity levels are both on the rise with the start of the seasonal transtition from dry to wet. Ok I’m gunna suss out the swell prediction scenerio’s and see when we’re gunna be getting some more swell. I’ll also be loading ya’s up a couple of New Video Clips shortly and throwing up some photos taken up in the Night Clubs of Kuta . So get a bit of work done and tune in again later on.
