Well as with any surf trip there are times when the elements do not come together. As was the case on this last little sojourn. I bailed early and came home as things were not looking as if they were going to improve anytime soon. But luck would have it that the next morning and with some swell definelty showing on the charts I headed up to Karamas. I was on scene by 6:30am and as I was walking down to my spot to shoot there was already a broken board heading home with its owner. There was some good clean waves coming though. There was a crew of about 20 guys on it and making the most of early morning light winds. Waves were coming through in the 3-5ft range with plenty of barrells happening. As the tide peaked conditions got a little fat but with the run out tide not to far away I’m sure there was going to more barrells going down. I had to bail though as I had maybe 2hrs sleep last night and a touch of the flu so be grateful for these latest photo, I’m spending the rest of the day in bed..
