Well I have finally recovered from what ever virus attacked me so thankfully I’m out of bed again. I made my way up to Karamas as I thought that it would be a good bet. Conditions on arrival were still a little sketchy as the tide was still too low although there was one keen surfer already in the water waiting for the tide to turn it on. As the tide pushed. so did the waves in the head high plus range, 3-4ft and barrels began to make themselves open for riding. There was some great tube rides, one local who has the place sussed paddled out from around the back (sketchy reef walk to rock jump) into his first wave and proceeded to be barrelled the full length of the wave. What a great way to wake up hey, love it. The crew didn’t grow too crowded by the time I had to leave, but I had been standing in the sun for a few hours, so I needed to get some liquids into me. Especially after being as sick as I was. Glad to be back though, hope you enjoy these latest shots of conditions here in beautiful Bali.
