**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Hi crew and it’s time for a fresh look at surf and weather conditions here in Bali today . Well as ya’s can see we were back to Serangan again, over on Bali ’s East Coast this morning. I reckon wave height was slightly bigger today, still mainly coming through in the 2-3ft range but every now and then we’d get a 4 foot freak set that would catch everyone unaware. We arrived around 7.30am to a pretty low tide that was still running out and the wind unusually calm making surfing conditions clean and glassy . But it wasn’t long before the wind did gear up first coming outta the NW and off-shore before swinging further around to the SW and cross/off-shore @ 6-10knot . Yeah and please don’t be too critical of these photos either, I was shooting straight into a rising sun. Compared to yesterday crowd levels were not too bad with only around 65 surfers spread out over a 200yrd area. I’d say there woulda been a lot of other locations offering clean waves through the early AM. So we got our fingers crossed for the chance of similar conditions again for tomorrow, at a different location. Ok then crew hook in and get some work done now and get ready for that weekend. And we’ll be keeping ya’s up ta date on Bali ’s surf and weather conditions all through it.
Weather wise today the sky has been mainly clear with plenty of sunshine and no sign or rain around these parts so far. Right now at 1.30PM the outside temperature is sitting around the 28 degree Celsius mark.
Well Thanks to all the kind hearted folks that have helped us improve the conditions up at the Datah Primary School ! We are making some real progress with the objectives we made, so make sure you check out our progress at the school via the “SCHOOL PROJECT” page over on the menue bar .
