Today I went for a surf out at Snapper from 5am for a couple of hours. I got about a dozen waves, with three laps walking around from greemnount, all in all I had a pretty fun little session. Waves were in the 2-3ft mark and on the low tide were running all the way along the great super bank. I drove past D’Bah on the way home and could see that conditions were going to be pretty good later on there also. The swell had come up a touch from yesterday and the wind was not to strong at the time. So I headed home grabbed the camera and back to D’bah to get the evidence. As you can see in the photos there were plenty of barrells going ridden. There was a number of the local Pro’s getting waves, I spotted Kieren Perrow, Occy and Parko to name a few. I also noticed Luke Egan taking his paddle board for a run earlier over at snapper. Its going to be like that with the quicksilver pro about to start. Us joe averages are probably going to find it tuff to get a wave at the well known spots here on the Goldy. The circus is in town, and its probaly better to watch and appreiciate the talent that these guys on the tour actually have. I for one wont to get down and watch a few heats and also have the chance to get a few more photos of the top guys. OK well thats it for me. Till next time!
