Ok well it was a different day out there today with blue sky and clean waves. The swell had dropped a touch on average but there was still some solid waves hitting snapper rocks. I got down there around 2pm and spent the afternoon taking photos and watching some hot surfing. To be honest there was a better bank down towards Greenmount/Kirra but I was hoping to spot a few of the worlds best. There was a number of pros again making an appearance, getting familiar with the piece of sand that is going to help determine the the begginning of 2008 for them. Tom Carroll stood out on a paddle board as he went into the lineup. Jordy Smith caught a few waves, just to name a couple. All in all it was a great day on the beach. With the tour kicking off this weekend get down and have look if you get the chance. Ok till next time.
