What a change a couple of days makes hey. Headed down to the beach this morning about 6am and conditions were just not happening. Howling nor-easter and next to no swell. OK well none compared to what we have had the last few days. There was still the odd 3ft wave hitting D’Bah but it was all over the place and Snapper was a non-event. I thought that the quicky pro would be a no show but about 8am there was a lot of movent, and things got into full swing not long after. Conditions actually cleaned up as the tide moved in and there was some rippable waves hitting the middle bank. The boys were making it look good and probably better than it actually was. There was some hot surfing, some close calls, near upsets and pretty much a good day of surfing. The weather was stinking hot, hitting the mid-thirties. There was hot women on the beach, God bless Brazil. The drink vendors did a rawing trade stopping people from dehydrating. The wind finally swung back to the south-east around 3pm and cooled things down so that was a very welcome event. As soon as the contest was over the locals hit the water to make up for the days lost waves to the professionals. Me, I packed up and headed home as it had been a long hot day in the sun. OK well thats that, I hope you enjoy. Till next time!
Thanks Scotto for keeping the reports flowing and hopefully it won’t be too long and you’ll be back here I Bali bro…. Slim
