Sorry about the late post crew, Telkom Indoneisa’s dial up internet was out of action all day on the 29th…… This morning the 1st of March we are off on a wave hunt and will have some new photos and info for ya’s later this evening ok.
**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Good morning crew and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com for the run down on todays surf and weather conditions. First up yesterday the crew from here at Home Base searched high and low along the East Coast for a wave. But in the end had to settle on 2 foot Nusa Dua .
Ok so my 6.45am surf recon of the Outer Reefs was showing maybe just the slightest increase in wave size between Kuta Reef and Airport Left , around knee to waist high on the bigger set waves. And if maybe it was just another foot bigger it’d probably be worth a paddle. But I think the boys and girls here at Home Base were thinking about taking a run up to Canggu just after the 0.6mtr Low tide passes at 8.30am. Wind direction this morning is currently coming outta the NW @ 1-3knot .
Weather wise today we’ve got a cloudy start and some light drizzle for starters but hopefully that’ll clear up as the day gets going. Temperature wise I think it’d be safe to expect a midday high of around 29 degree’s Celsius.
Swell Forecast (27thFeb – 4th Mar) The next few days and we are gunna have to grit out teeth and bare out small waves in the 1-3ft range depending on location. Then around Saturday or Sunday things are starting to look better with a shift in wind direction and tending to the NNE-E providing semi off-shore to off-shore wind here along the West Coast. Then (fingers crossed) a new swell system should also start to show around Sunday building over the next few days and provide plenty of swell through till mid week.
