March 26 surf report
Winds were out of the north this morning. Our boat headed for Nipusi/Bankvaults again. It was smaller than yesterday, but still fun. After a while the winds got more west and Burgerworld started sounding good since the swell was not that big. It was a good call because there were only a couple of surfers there and the conditions were good. Waves were a little big for that spot, 3 feet overhead or so, but there were plenty of in between sets that were good. Everybody had fun and didn’t get back until mid afternoon. So the rest of the day was spent snorkeling and looking for shells and hanging out. Looking for that short period swell to increase tomorrow.
March 25th surf report
The winds were blowing out of the north this morning. We headed over to Nupusi/Bankavaults. It was smaller than yesterday and a little more disorganized, but still plenty of fun. After a few hours, the wind got a little more west so we headed back for some lunch. In the afternoon, we were about ready to call it a snorkeling or book reading afternoon because the places that could pick up the swell were onshore with the now southwest winds, but then sets started coming through at 4 Bobs. All of a sudden there were head high waves and no one was around. Our guys went out and we all had a good time, sharing waves and calling each other in. We had it to ourselves the whole afternoon and surfed until dark. Expecting fading swell tomorrow, and maybe the first signs of a weird, short period swell in the afternoon
