Today I was up a 4am and headed down to my old hunting ground for waves and meet up with my good friend. There was not alot of swell and after an initial surf check decieded to head down to the beach break that had some nice little 2ft peaks coming through. Its still a semi-secret spot so there’s no photos but it was good to surf with my local crew, free from hassles and agro. Guys call others into waves and the feeling is pretty mellow. Even with a good number in the water its so more pleasent than crowds on the gold coast and worth my effort to get up early. Once I had my session though I headed back to the Gold Coast and arrived at D’Bah where the annual Kirra Teams Challange was in full action mode. There was some great little waves coming though against the break wall and as the tide bottomed out it became pretty easy to pull into the tube. The crowd was pretty thick at the north end of the beach but there was plenty of waves and everyone appeared to be getting their share. I will try and get some more photos tomorrow and send through some of the action from this weekend during the week. I don’t get the chance to surf or get photos at the moment due to work commitments, and I’m trying to save my coin so I can get back to beautiful Bali asap. OK till next time.
