Kandui Sur Resort: April 16 surf report
A little southwest swell was showing today. We had plans to take off early, but a storm thwarted out plans. It passed by around 8am or so, and we were quick to jump in the boat and head off to Bankvaults. We were greeted right away by a solid set that peeled down the reef with nobody there to catch any of them. Conditions were looking glassy and we were in the water just about before the boat came to a stop, and got a couple of good ones right off the bat. But our luck did not last as the winds went west and it got messy. The winds stayed west the rest of the day. We surfed some ok Nipusi in the afternoon, and some people surfed small, chest high at best, 4 Bobs, which had perfect conditions but lacked the main ingredient. Expecting dropping swell tomorrow
