Today when I did my check on the outer reefs I was a little disappointed with the amount of swell that has dropped off the radar. There was very little breaking at 6am, and what was coming through would have been in the knee high range. There may have been a little increase as the tide pushed but you would have to have timed it just right as I think the tide would have flattend out any chance of surf pretty quick. So you guys are the lucky recipients again with me heading down to Uluwatu and being on location by 7:30am. Condition were very clean and waves were in the 1-3ft range. There was a total of 30 surfers in the water when I headed home after a couple of hours on the spot and they were spread from temples to the race track so it was far from crowded. As I was headed home I decieded to take a detour to another spot I wanted to check and although it is well known it is still semi secret due to the access to the break being a little less desirable. Anyway as you can see in the photos the swell was hitting there with a little more size and the half a dozen surfers were enjoying the conditions. By the time I arrived the wind was a little strong and effecting the water surface but still clean enough for the boys to be having some fun. Ok so that was my day, hope you are getting some waves wherever you are. Till next time!
