**** MORNING SURF UP-DATE **** Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for the daily surf and weather report . Getting straight into it this morning, my 6.30am surf recon of the Outer Reefs was showing wave height is still holding in there at 1-3ft between Kuta Reef and Airport Left .
The tide was just hitting the bottom of a 0.3mtr Low and will be running back up for a massive 2.7mtr High around midday. Wind direction was coming outta the ENE @ 1-3knot making surfing conditions clean and tidy. Nothing much happening for the surfer on Kuta Reef with a combination of 1-1ft plus set waves and the low tide. Middle Reef on the other hand already had 4 surfers in the water and there were some nice looking head to head high plus set waves peeling off. Airport Left was breaking in the 1-2ft+ range and will also have some more waves as the tide starts it’s run back in.
The crew from here at Home Base have loaded up the rental and already left for Uluwatu and I’m sure they will score some action, possibly in the 2-4ft class. Me I’ve gotta make the run back upto the Datah Primary School to have a look at the progress on the new wall and gate. So I’ll only get brief looks at the ocean as I travel along the North Eastern Coastline for the rest of the day.
Weather wise this morning it’s shaping up for a beautiful day around this part o the island. Clear blue sky and sunshine for the lucky buggers here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
Swell forecast , well there is some new swell in transit to us here in Bali and we should see it gracing our reefs and beachs anytime in the next 24-48hr period. This time we should see some more solid surf. And not too far behind this batch is another medium sized swell that should have us rolling in waves over the next week.
