**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Hello crew and welcome back to the baliwaves.com daily surf and weather report station. Another late one I know but I was waiting for Scotto to deliver his latest batch of photos from Canggu .
I actually made it down to the beach this morning for a surf recon of the Outer Reefs , no dramatic change in wave height but there were some fun little waves. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport left was still hanging in there in the 1-2ft+ range. Not a great deal brea king on Kuta Reef but Middle Reef had a few in the waist to shoulder high plus range. Airport left was looking the best, still also only in the waist to shoulde high class but coming through a little more consistent. I also managed a trip up along Kuta beach but there wasn’t a lot happening on the stretch with wave height only showing in the 1-2ft range at best.
Scott was up at Canggu as ya’s can see in these latest images we have for ya’s but the lad was a little bit too tired to type us up his run down on surfing conditions. But it looked pretty good to me.
The first of our tides today was a 1.8mtr High @ 8.00am and that was followed by a 0.9mtr Low around the 2.00pm mark . Wind direction was a bit outta whack today coming outta the WSW @ 1-2knot , blowing light on-shore.
Weather wise and that’s also been a bit outta whack with a mixture of sunshine and cloud cover for the irst half of the day and then around 2.30pm. The cloud cover become a little more serious and it’s been raining since.
Mentawai Islands ; our good friends up at the Kan dui Surf Resort have been scoring some nice waves in their part of Ind onesia and have sent us through more photos and reports so make sure ya take at peak at whats been happening up at Kandui.
