Kandui Surf Resort May 1 surf report
Light southeasterly’s again this morning. It’s looking like a pattern at this point. The waves looked a little smaller out front, but a quick look at the west facing reefs and we could see that it was the same size as yesterday over there or maybe even a little bigger. Our first boat went to Bankvaults. The wind was a little onshore, but it was still pretty clean. There was no one out and the waves were well overhead. The guys surfed it for a few hours to themselves, then headed back for lunch. Our second boat went back to Beng Beng. It was about the same size as yesterday and conditions were clean. It was another long day for those guys as they packed a lunch and hung out late. In the afternoon, a few of the guys went to Hideaways and got some fun, overhead waves. Some of the other guys surfed 4 Bobs. The waves were noticeably bigger late afternoon, so we are hoping for good things tomorrow.
Kandui Surf Resort April 30 surf report
Light southeasterly’s were blowing again this morning. The swell looked about the same out front, but after we had a look at the west facing reefs we could tell it was a little bigger out of the west. Our first boat went to Beng Beng. The conditions were looking good over there and no one was around. The guys packed a lunch and stayed until late afternoon! The waves were head high on the sets and super fun. Our second boat went to Hideaways. The waves there were a little overhead and clean as well. Still only 2 boats in the area and the guys are super mellow, so we are still happy with the crowd factor around here. Hoping for bigger waves tomorrow.
