Kandui Surf Resort May 19 surf report
Southeast winds again this morning. So unusual to have a pattern like this in May! Our guys went straight to Hideaways to try and get some waves before the tide went out. It was a little bigger than yesterday, going overhead occasionally, and conditions were clean. They surfed until the tide got too low, then came back for lunch. In the afternoon, one of our boats went looking for surf and ended up at Pitstop. It was maybe chest high, but clean and fun. The rest of us surfed 4 Bobs which was shoulder high or so and consistent. We surfed until dark. We are probably looking at smaller surf tomorrow.
Kandui Surf Resort May 18 surf report
It was looking perhaps a bit bigger this morning. Winds were, again, out of the southeast. Our guys went searching for some waves and ended up at McDonalds again. There was no one out and it was clean. Some shoulder high plus waves were coming through. Another one of our boats went to Beng Beng. It was clean there as well and the waves were checking in at around chest high. They pretty much had it to themselves as well, with only a couple of other guys paddling out for a while. In the afternoon, one of our boats went to Hideaways. The swell seemed to be getting a little bigger and there were some head high sets coming through. The rest of us that wanted to surf went out at 4 Bobs. It was semi clean and around shoulder high and, as always, fun! We are hoping for a little increase in the swell tomorrow
