**** AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE **** Hello friends and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for your daily dose of Bali surf and weather info. Well not a hellova lotta action happening today around these parts but still the odd waist to shoulder high wave breaking on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban.
I took my first look at the ocean just after sunrise at 6.15am . The tide was just on the bottom of 0.6mtr Low before starting it’s run back up for another solid 2.6mtr High just after lunch. The wind was already coming outta the ESE-SE @ 2-5knot but soon there after increased up into the 12-16knot class. Howling off-shore between Legian and Uluwatu.
One of the boys staying here with us here at Home Base in Tuban went for a paddle at Middle Reef and reckoned that’s about all it was, a paddle. Airport Lefts was probably the most consistent at the time with the odd waist high set wave. But I just took another look at the wave situation on the Outer Reefs about half a hour ago at 1.30pm and it does appear to already be starting to pick up a bit more size. The wind is still howling off-shore but Airport left was now brea king in the 2-3ft+ range.
We held off on shooting new photos of these smaller conditions but we will be out and about over the weekend shooting some fresh photos and video as the swell picks up . That way you get to see some real waves that Bali has on offer. So make sure ya stayed tuned into the baliwaves.com all through the weekend cause we’ll be bringing Bali right to ya.
Weather wise , it’s been a perfect holiday type day. Blue sky and sunshine since sun up and it’s stayed that way all the way. Our top tempe rature woulda easily busted in to the low 30’s on the Celsius scale while the water temp is also perfect at 23 C.
Swell Forecast ; It’s all happening here in Bali folks. Small waves today before we should start to see a new system showing sometime late tomorrow afternoon and then building into a 6-8ft+ swell over the weekend. This should continue into next week with another system riding in on it’s back and keeping wave height in the medium to solid class and then furth er out towards the end of next week yet another solid swell system moving in on us.

G-Land ; I had a pnone through surf report from G-Land this morning and Raymond said there was waves brea king on Kongs and Money Tree’s in the head to head high plus range with clean off-shore wind.
