Kandui Surf Resort May 31 surf report
It was really glassy this morning. The wind was barely blowing. Two of our guests, Paul and Worth, paddled out to glassy 4 Bobs just after sunrise, just like they have everyday since they have gotten here, to get some waves to themselves. They have been here around four days and have surfed 4 Bobs with no one else out but them for probably five hours a day! They are having a great time. Some of the others went to Beng Beng. It was looking smaller out in front of the resort, but Beng Beng delivered again today with head high sets and perfect conditions. No one out again until they were ready to leave. Good fun. Our second boat headed to Burgerworld. The right was onshore, so they went around to McDonalds and surfed it with good conditions. It was overhead on the sets and no one was out. Not bad. In the afternoon, our boat went to Nipusi. It was a little onshore, but the waves were overhead once in a while and no one was out. The rest of us surfed 4 Bobs. Fun as always and around chest high or so. The last forecasted swell was pretty much a no show. We are hoping to see signs of our next swell tomorrow afternoon.
Kandui Surf Resort May 30 surf report
We had east winds blowing this morning. It looked a little smaller out front, but our first boat headed over to Beng Beng and they were surprised to see some head high sets over there. To top it off, no one was out and the conditions were perfect! They surfed until finally a boat turned up around noon so they headed back for lunch. Our second boat went to Bankvaults. The winds had turned a little more north by mid morning and conditions were good. It was fun, but only a little overhead. Around midday, we sent a boat to Hideaways. It also had some head high waves and was clean, although a little inconsistent. Our guys surfed it until the tide got sketchy. The afternoon boat surfed Nipusi. Conditions were super clean and we timed it well as the only boat there left just as we jumped in. It was overhead on the sets there and fun. Surfed until dark. We were expecting a little more size today looking at the forecasts. We are hoping maybe the swell might just show up late and tomorrow will be bigger
