Nias / Sumatra
Side shore pictures are from the 17th June, 2008
and the bigger day is from 18th June 2008
This will only be a brief report haha
Bout 10 -15 guys out during the day with morning light offshore
and clean waves in the 3-5ft range then a change round 11am which turned
sideshore but still as you can see from the photos its still barreling
flawlessy down the line then an
afternoon glass off with more local crew hitting it on dark
18th was 6-8ft
but when it hits 8ft it cant get any bigger only heavier which is what it did and
no-one
went out until bout hour or hour and half after it got light then it got
crowded with 30+ guys after I took some photos for bout hour I went out too
during the morning even the best guys weren’t having a go at some as 8ft slabs
came through heavier than most and drained the reef so shallow but many good waves
lotsa snapped boards for local rippers to hav
repaired
My dinner is ready so I’ll send more photos later
tonight in bout 2 hrs did you want 10 photos all up as I got some
sik ones from the big day n also the day before ill jus send 4 fro 17th n 6 from
18th cause it was so much better
Keep an eye on this page as Jai will be sending us more images and reports from Nias.
