Today I went and checked the outer reefs and expected to find very little in the way of waves. To my surprise there was still a few waist to chest high waves breaking on Kuta reef and airport lefts. There was already a few surfers making the most of the early morning 2.0 high tide at 6am. It will then bottom out with a low of 0.8 at 1pm. this will be your best chance to hit middle reef as you know it works best on the lower tide. Waves were still coming through out there in the head high class with maybe the odd bigger one.
I grabbed the camera and headed up to Padma street to see what was happening up there but unfortunatly not much. As the tides were not really big enough and by the time I got up there it was well on the way out. So instead I headed a little further north to the beach breaks of Legian to grab these latest shots for you all. Waves were in the knee to chest high range and coming through pretty consistently. Although with the tide running out there was a bit of a rip and back wash on the waves.
The weather out side is still warm and with a little cloud cover. We did have a sprinkle of rain yesterday but today I don’t think that we will have that problem. There are large patches of blue and that I feel will be the order of the day. Blue sky, warm weather and another beautiful day this paradise called Bali. Ok till next time. Scott.
