Meetin n Greetin the Reef Team

On Saturday afternoon at 5 pm in front of the Surfer Girl, Blue Groove, and Quiksilver Boardrider’s stores on Jalan Legian, a host of lucky fans got to meet and greet some of the most famous of Reef International’s surf team and get some great individually autographed posters, plus enjoy some free drinks courtesy of Reef Indonesia and Coco-Cola Bottling Indonesia.

2008 World Champion Mick Fanning, Rob Machado, Ben Bourgeois, Jay “Bottle” Thompson, Nick Rozsa and Team Manager Heath Walker all arrived at 5:30 to the hoots and cheers of the crowd already gathered on the sidewalk and on the street.  The boys had few drinks, some snacks, and then sat down to sign autographs and chat with a lineup of their fans of all ages and from all over the world.

During the autograph signing the Reef girls came out and showed off their pretty outfits and MC Ribut headed up a couple of Reef product giveaway sessions.  Then the boys spent some time inside the Blue Groove shop doing some TV interviews before heading out to finish up their Sunday night somewhere else.

There were literally hundreds of stoked fans that all left that night with something, be it posters, a buzz, or some cool Reef products….and a big smile coz they got to meet some of the best surfers in the world…live and in person!
