Kandui Surf Resort Sep 13th surf report
It was looking a bit smaller than yesterday out front. Some of the guys were
frothing after yesterday’s slow day so they did a two hour tour of every possible
surf spot around here, but with disappointing results. The ocean was still mixed up
looking and it was getting fairly small. Try to remember, it’s never a good sign
when you cannot get a surf guide to come looking for waves with you! 4 Bobs was the call again today being the only place that seemed to be blocked from whatever was messing up the surf, until the late afternoon when the ocean finally seemed to clean itself up and we went to Nipusi. There were still some overhead sets there and only 4 other guys where out. It was pretty fun and we stayed until dark. We might be looking at a Burgerworld day tomorrow.

It was pretty glassy out front this morning. There were some shoulder high plus
waves at 4 Bobs, but some of the guys wanted a left so they went to Beng Beng while the rest stayed and surfed 4 Bobs. The later was the best choice because Beng Beng was pretty crowded and pretty small too. The ocean was a bit lumpy everywhere so there was really nowhere to go for a good wave. Seeing what was out there, we were content to surf 4 Bobs the rest of the day. Probably looking at smaller surf tomorrow.
Kandui Surf Resort Sep 10th surf report
We had a northwest wind blowing this morning. It wasn’t that strong, but it was
enough to keep us in our little area which takes that wind well. There were no
boats around so we spread out to Rifles, John Candy’s, and 4 Bobs. It was clean and a little overhead at all the spots. Some boats started showing up and then the wind switched and started blowing lightly out of the southeast, so we jumped in the boat to go looking for some lefts. Kandui and Hideaways had nice waves, but the tide was too sketchy with the size waves that were rolling through so we moved on to Ebay. It was overhead there and glassy. A few guys were on it, but our crew got some waves and everybody had fun. On the way back home there was a little light left so we looked at Bankvaults. Big, but lumping and scary looking so we surfed Nipusi until dark. We are probably still looking at some sizable surf tomorrow.

The winds were still blowing out of the north this morning. We made a bee line back to Bankvaults to see if we could repeat yesterday’s great session. Usually, you don’t score back to back great sessions at a spot, but we did today! It was still double overhead plus and conditions were perfect and only one guy was out when we pulled up. We got some really nice waves. That’s three days in a row that we got surf that most people would get the wave of their life! I’ll for sure post some pictures in the next couple of days. The winds turned more west late morning and we went back to the resort. 4 Bobs really got good so some of our guests went out there. We checked Bankvaults just to make sure, but the guys ended up surfing Nipusi instead. Not bad though. It was still well overhead and conditions were pretty good. Looking for possibly as big or bigger surf tomorrow!
