****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE**** Hello surfers and thanks for taking the time for lok at whats been happening surf and weather wise here on your favourite surfing holiday island of Bali.
So as ya’s can see in these latest photos wave height has dropped off a bit more today down into the 2-3ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. And once again the wind has been blowing on-shore, coming outta the WSW @ 3-6knot.
Tide wise the first of our tides today was a 0.7mtr Low @ 10.00am and then we’ll have a 1.4mtr High @ 4.00pm
Kuta Reef as the photos show was breaking in the 1-2ft range with the occasional 3 foot set wave. Surfing conditions were still fairly clean and there woulda been around 15-20 surfers in the water at the time I was out there.
Middle Reef was also only breaking in the 2-3ft+ range
Airport Left had a fairly solid crew on her with wave height in the 1-2ft+ range.
East Coast ; Talking to a couple of Kiwi’s down the beach and they said they were out surfing at Sanur Reef on sun up. Good waves in the 2-4ft range until around 8.am when the after brekfast crew started to turn up.
Weather wise today it’s been a good one for sun shine and sun tans with the temperature hitting a high of 30 degree’s Celsius. While the water temp is also perfect at 23 degree’s Celsius.
Swell Forecast (21st – 27th) The swell that we currently have is expected to slowly taper off in size over this week and by Thursday back in the 2-4ft range depending on location. Then on Friday we should see a new medium sized swell appear on the reefs around Friday producing more waves through the weekend.
