****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE**** Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for another look at surfing and weather conditions here in Bali today.
My first surf check of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban went down at 7.30AM and wave height was still showing in the 1-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and smooth with the aid of a 5-10knot ESE off-shore Tradewind.
Tide wise we had a 1.7mtr High @ 7.00Am and then a 0.8mtr Low around 1.00PM
Kuta Reef has been producing some nice little fun sized waves in the waist to head high range from early this morning and right through till sunset.
Middle Reef also had some nice waves in the waist to head high plus sector with the best waves coming through around midday on the lower end of the tide.
Airport Left was breaking in the waist to head high class as well and also producing some short but sweet little waves.
Uluwatu woulda been the best place to be again today and wave height woulda still been coming through in the chest to head high plus from Temple’s through the Main Peak and Racetrack sections depending on where the tide was.
Weather wise it’s been damn hot here in Bali the last couple of days. Temperature wise the mercury would have only pushing the 32-34 degree Celsius mark but combined with a humidity level in the high 90’s.
Ok that’s about it for today but I’ve got a ride up to Canggu tomorrow morning with local ripster Devis Ratif and I’m sure there’ll be a few of his friends around as well. So tune in tomorrow afternoon for another round of baliwaves here on the one and only original Bali Surf Report website.
I also just wanna refresh ya’s about what baliwaves.com is all about. Bali Fishing New’s ; I finally got around to loading up some of the photos I’ve taken of some of the fish we’ve caught over the last 4 weeks. Plus a bit of a run down on what we’ve been up to. You can find that on our Fishing Report Page in the Reports Menue.
Exchange Rates ; Well the way the Australian dollar has been crashing the last couple of weeks it’s been hard to say what it’s doing today but it would be still ranging between Rp7,100 – Rp7,150 depending on location. While the US$ is still pretty stable at Rp9,150.
And just a reminder that we still have some original baliwaves.com T-Shirts (AU$15.00) and FREE stickers available for ya’s here in Bali so drop me a line.
Don’t forget if any of you lot want to grab some photos or video footage surfing here in Bali and we can easily arrange it for ya. Or if ya check out the Wotashot.com banner you might even find a photo of you on your last trip to Bali.
If it’s somewhere a little more private you’r looking for take a look at the private bungalow for rent we have in our Business Directory and drop the owner Michael Owen an email. Michael is one of the old school surfers who rubs shoulders with the likes of Gerry Lopez and Peter McCabe just to name a couple of Indo Legends.
