****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Good morning crew and thanks for stopping by your baliwaves.com for the Sunday Edition on whats happening surf and weather wise on the No.1 surfing holiday island of Bali.
This morning I was down taking in a surf recon of the Outer`Reefs here in Tuban at 7.30AM and am happy to say that there has been a slight increase in wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions are perfectly clean with the aid of a light ESE off-shore wind blowing in the 3-6knot class. Wave height in the 2-4ft range.
Tide wise the first of our tides today was a 1.9mtr High @ 9.00AM and then we’ll have a 0.5mtr Low around the 3.00PM mark
Kuta Reef had some fun looking little waves coming through in the waist to head high range and there looked to already be at least 20 surfers in the water at the time.
Middle Reef also had plenty of wave breaking in the shoulder to head high plus sector. Middle’s will only keep improving as the tide continues to run out through the afternoon.
Airport Left was breaking in the waist to head high range as well but there seemed to be a bit longer of a wait for the bigger waves to come through.
Uluwatu would be the best bet for a wave this morning and you could at least expect wave height to be in the chest to well over head high range down on the Main Peak section this morning.
Beach breaks up along the Half Way to Padma st stretch of sand would have plenty of smaller waves on offer and if your not quite up to surfing over the coral reefs that’s the best option for you.
Weather wise we have another great day coming on for the lucky people here on holiday today. Temperature wise we can expect more hot and humid conditons with a top of around 33 degree’s Celsius. While the water temp is absolutely perfect for swimming and surfing at 24 degree’s Celsius.
Photo Up-Date ; The good guys at the G-Land Surf Camp have sent us through some new photos from the last swell we had and I’ll have those up on line for ya’s in another 20 minutes or so.

We’re not trying to flog ya’s surf trips or sell ya’s anything for that matter, we’re just trying to show ya’s how good it is here in Bali / Indonesia for a surfing holiday. We want you guys to come over and have a ball and then go back home and tell your friends how good it is.

Bali Fishing New’s ; I finally got around to loading up some of the photos I’ve taken of some of the fish we’ve caught over the last 4 weeks. Plus a bit of a run down on what we’ve been up to. You can find that on our Fishing Report Page in the Reports Menue.
Exchange Rates ; Well the way the Australian dollar has been crashing the last couple of weeks it’s been hard to say what it’s doing today but it would be still ranging between Rp6,150 – Rp6,450 depending on location.
And just a reminder that we still have some original baliwaves.com T-Shirts (AU$15.00) and FREE stickers available for ya’s here in Bali so drop me a line.
Don’t forget if any of you lot want to grab some photos or video footage surfing here in Bali and we can easily arrange it for ya. Or if ya check out the Wotashot.com banner you might even find a photo of you on your last trip to Bali.
If it’s somewhere a little more private you’r looking for take a look at the private bungalow for rent we have in our Business Directory and drop the owner Michael Owen an email. Michael is one of the old school surfers who rubs shoulders with the likes of Gerry Lopez and Peter McCabe just to name a couple of Indo Legends.
Best Regards from the No.1 surfing holiday destination that’s got it all, BALI , see ya’s here in 2008
