****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com for the daily run down on surfing and weather conditions around Bali.
Another top day here in Bali coming on for the holiday crew and virually a carbon copy of what we had yesterday. I was down on the beach at 6.45AM to find wave height still ranging in the 2-3ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport left.
Wind direction was coming lightly outta the ESE-SE @ 1-3knot and clean of-shore between Kuta and Uluwatu.
Tide wise the first of the day was 0.1mtr reef exposing low @ 6.00Am and then we’ll have a 2.1mtr High @ 12.00 noon and then finish off the day with one more 0.3mtr Low around sun set time.
Once again the tide was still too low to surf at Kuta Reef or at Airports but Middle Reef was producing some nice little waves in the chest to head high plus class. I’d say as the tide fills in towards midday Airport left will have a few waves up to head high set waves. Likewise the beach breaks along the Kuta to Legian stretch will also be worth a look on the top of the tide. Further south down in the Bukit area you’d also find a few small waves breaking at Balangan upto head high around mid tide. And of course Uluwatu will be picking up the biggest waves along the West Coast as usual.
Weather wise we’re in for another hot and sunny day and thats what counts when your on vacation.
The Water temperature is perfect for a swim or surf without having to wear a wetsuit at 23 degree’s Celsius.
Ok the weekend is just about on us again and make sure ya stay tuned to the baliwaves.com as with a new swell expected to start showing in the next 24-36hrs we’ll be out there shooting some new photos for ya’s to look and think about.
Swell Forecast (2nd – 7th October) small but fun sized waves are what we have today but maybe dropping off a touch through Friday and Saturday morning before a new moderate sized swell will start to show on the reefs around Saturday afternoon. This one should hold through till Monday and then finally fading back down into the 2-3ft+ range come Tuesday.
