****MIDDAY SURF UP-DATE**** Hello surfers and thanks for taking the time to stop by the baliwaves.com surf and weather report website +++.
Ok, so our first surf check went down this morning at 7.00AM on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. Afte living here in Tuban for the last 14 yrs I think I can safely use the Outer reefs as my swell indicator for the West Coast of Bali. Anyway wave height had increased a touch no showing in the 1-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
The tide was still a touch too low for KR or AL but Middle Reef was breaking nicely in the waist to head high range. But there were already around 20 surfers in the water at the time.
Surfing conditions this morning were clean and tidy even though the wind was coming out of the West @ 2-4knot and styraight on-shore along Bali’s West Coast.
Tide wise the first was a 2.0mtr High @ 12.00 noon and then we’ll have a 0.4mtr Low @ 5.00PM
As you can see in these current photos I shot this morning I went for a wander down along the beach breaks of Kuta / Legian to Padma St. Wave height down there was only in the 1-2ft range but very consistent. Crowd wise there would have been 30 surfers riding the right hander and another 20 surfers on the left hand bank.
Weather wise it’s been just another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island of Bali.
Swell Forecast , 31st Oct – 6th Nov. Well things are looking pretty average swell wise over the next week. Small waves in the waist to head high plus range depending on location.
Photo Up-Date , The lads from the Macaroni Surf Resort have sent us in some new photos and news from there part of Indonesia. New surf reports from the Kandui Sur Resort and I’ll be checking in with the G-Land Surf Camp crew later this afternoon to see if they have anything for us.
