****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Good morning my friends and welcome aboard the baliwaves.com for todays look at surfing and weather conditons from your favourite little holiday island of Bali.
First up sorry I couldn’t get over to the East Coast yesterday afternoon cause the rain just didn’t let up, and it wouldn’t have been any fun at all riding over there in the rain with expensive camera equipment. But we’ll see how things are looking again this afternoon ok.
Rain, rain and more rain was first thing on the agenda this morning so I’ve only just come back from doing the surf check of the Outer reefs now at 10.30AM. Wave height is all but flat between Kuta Reef and Airport left and the wind is coming out of the SSW @ 5-9knot. So with that piece of info we can count out the West Coast for wave hunting today.
Tide wise today the first is going to be a 1.7mtr High @ 8.00AM and then a 0.7mtr Low around the 2.00PM mark.
Looking for a wave today the East Coast is going to be the place. But with plenty of south in the wind already my pick would be to head for Serangan as the tide starts to push back in around mid afternoon. Hopefully the wind will settle down by then as well and if so Keramas would also be worth a check.
Weather wise , more rain to start us off with then we can expect a very humid afternoon with the chance of more rain to follow. Temperature wise todays maximum should reach around the 27-29 degree Celsius mark.
Swell Forecast 24th-30th Nov ; Not a great deal to look forward to over the next 7 day period with wave height only expected to be showing in the 2-4ft range at the better locations around Bali. The yo-yo effect will be in place.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you will find that 1AU$=Rp7,600 – 1US$=Rp12,200 give or take 100 Rupiah.
