****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Good morning friends and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for the “just have to know whats going on in Bali” daily surf and weather report.
Well ground hog day #4. My 7.00AM surf recon of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be slightly smaller than yesterday dropping down into the 1-1ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind coming lightly out of the ESE @ 1-3knot.
Tide wise today the first will be a 0.5mtr Low @ 9.00AM and then she will be running back in for a 1.6mtr High around the 3.00PM mark.
Looking for a wave today your going to be hard pressed to find anything bigger than shoulder to head high and the best place to look would be at Uluwatu down on the Southern end of the island. Or while the wind is still light over on the East Coast at Keramas. Middle Reef did have a few surfers already in the water but wave height was only showing in the waist to chest high range when the sets come through.
Photo up-date dept ; I just couldn’t bring myself to go and shoot waves that don’t show the full potential of what Bali has to offer so I loaded up a few memories from Uluwatu in better times. I alsl never got time to load up the Surfing Gallery for October so I’m going to start loading them up through out the day. There’s at least 100 or so from last month to check out. If the swell does pick up tomorrow I’ll go and shoot you some fresh photos.
I also better let you all know that as of tomorrow evening I’ll be off island for 1 week but will have my camera equipment with me and I’ll be reporting from the East Coast of Australia. Just as long as Doctor Tooheys allows me to.
Weather wise today there’s no sign of any cloud over us and nothing but blue sky and sunshine for the beach lovers left here in Bali. Heading for a top temperature of around 33 degree’s Celsius.
Swell Forecast, 4th -9th Nov . Small waves for the remainder of today and into Thursday and then we should see a small pulse in wave height through Thursday afternoon and into Friday. Come Saturday / Sunday and we will be back in action with a medium sized swell forecasted. That should stick around until Monday before adding out.
I also just wanna refresh ya’s about what baliwaves.com is all about. We’re not trying to flog ya’s surf trips or sell ya’s anything for that matter, we’re just trying to show ya’s how good it is here in Bali / Indonesia for a surfing holiday. We want you guys to come over and have a ball and then go back home and tell your friends how good it is.
