****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves for the latest info on surfing and weather conditions from your favourite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
As you can see in these latest photos to come out of Bali we yesterday afternoon saw wave height finally increase to a respectable size. The boys and I from Home Base made the run over to Serangan around 3.00Pm, finding wave height rocking through in the 3-4ft+ range and the wind virtually straight off-shore out of the West.
But as per usual there was a solid contingency of surfers in the line up and at one stage I counted 90 spread over a 300yrd arena. We hung out until 6.00Pm sipping a couple of cold bintangs beers before heading back to Tuban.
This morning I haven’t as yet made it down for a surf recon of the Outer Reefs but will be as soon as I get these new photos on-line for you. I’ll be back later this afternoon with a Christmas Eve up-date so until then have a good one what ever you have got on and than ks again for tuning into the original Baliwaves.com daily surf and weather report website.
Tide wise today we have a 1.4mtr High @ 8.00Am and then a 0.9mtr Low around 2.00Pm.
Weather wise there’s some high and light cloud cover to start off with but I think it’s a safe bet to say we won’t see any rain. Heading for a maximum temperature of 31 degree’s.
Don’t forget you can drop us an email through the “Contact” link if you have any questions that might help your next vist to the holiday island run a bit smoother.
The good guys from the Macaroni Surf Resort up in the Mentawai Islands have also sent us through an “end of season” wrap up and included some super special deals for anyone wanting to get in early and book for the coming 2009 season. So check that out on the Macaroni Report under Surf Reports.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you will find that 1AU$=Rp7,585 – 1US$=Rp10,650 give or take 100 Rupiah.
I also just wanna refresh ya’s about what baliwaves.com is all about. We’re not trying to flog ya’s surf trips or sell ya’s anything for that matter, we’re just trying to show ya’s how good it is here in Bali / Indonesia for a surfing holiday. We want you guys to come over and have a ball and then go back home and tell your friends how good it is.

If it’s somewhere a little more private you’r looking for take a look at the private bungalow for rent we have in our Business Directory and drop the owner Michael Owen an email. Michael is one of the old school surfers who rubs shoulders with the likes of Gerry Lopez and Peter McCabe just to name a couple of Indo Legends.

And just a reminder that we still have some original baliwaves.com T-Shirts (AU$15.00) and FREE stickers available for ya’s here in Bali so drop me a line.
Don’t forget if any of you lot want to grab some photos or video footage surfing here in Bali and we can easily arrange it for ya. Or if ya check out the Wotashot.com banner you might even find a photo of you on your last trip to Bali.
