****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE**** Hello folks and thanks for waiting around for me to get some of my obligatory duties completed and back into surfing and weather info mode again.

As you can see in the first photo we have loaded up we’d like to wish Betet and his wife Sarah a long and fruitful life together as they were wed here in Tuban at Betet’s parents house on the 4^th of December 08. It was a perfect ceremony and as you can imagine a 5 star studded reception.

This morning the boys and I from here at Home Base though we’d buzz up to Keramas early this morning and score some sik little right handers, But Ha ! Keramas was only just breaking in the 1-1ft+ range when we arrived just after 7.30AM. Not even one surfer in the water. But perfectly clean surf conditions,

From there we thought, oh well there’ll have to be something breaking at Serangan or at least we’ll settle for some breakfast and a cold drink. Well breakfast at Seranagn was pretty good…. There were a few waves breaking, bigger than Keramas but still only in the 2ft class and lacking any sort of push / power. Crowd wise there were plenty of takers at Serangan with around 50 surfers in the water. Surfing conditions here were also clean and tidy with the wind blowing straight off-shore at 5-8knot out of the WSW.

I’m going to be taking a good look at what the swell prediction boys have for us later on tonight and fingers crossed there will be good news ?

Weather wise today there was some cloud hanging over the East Coast this morning but back here on the West Coast there’s nothing but blu sky and sunshine. Right now at 2.30PM the temperature would still be around 30 degree’s Celsius at least.

Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you will find that 1AU$=Rp7,700 – 1US$=Rp12,150 give or take 100 Rupiah.

I also just wanna refresh ya’s about what baliwaves.com is all about. We’re not trying to flog ya’s surf trips or sell ya’s anything for that matter, we’re just trying to show ya’s how good it is here in Bali / Indonesia for a surfing holiday. We want you guys to come over and have a ball and then go back home and tell your friends how good it is.
