****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Good morning surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com for the latest no nonsense surf and weather information straight out of your favourite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Just to keep everyone in the mood I’ve loaded a few images of Keramas in better days ok .
Ok well excuse me for taking advantage of the previous couple of days of as bad as it gets in Bali type surfing conditions (lack of) and going sport fishing, Balinese style of course. But I’ll fill you in on that on the Fishing Report Page later on.
So as I mentioned over the last two days it’s been pretty small to say the least. But this morning there has been a significant increase in wave height on the Outer Reefs of Tuban and now showing in the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Unfortunately the wind is freash out of the WSW @ 6-10knot so there won’t be too many waves surfed along the West Coast today.
Tide Wise today our first was a 1.5mtr High @ 7.00AM and then she’ll be running out for a 0.8mtr Low @ 1.00PM
Looking for a wave today I’d be waiting until after the low tide passes and starts to run back in. Then I’d be heading for the East Coast and settle for some 2-3 footers at Serangan. There’s also a big chance of an afternoon glass off as it did yesterday and then maybe Nusa Dua or Keramas could be worth a look.
Weather wise this morning we had some solid rain fall which lasted through till 7.00AM. Right now at 8.30AM the sky is still clouded over and still a chance of a few more drops. Temperature wise we’ll still be heading for a humid top of around 28 degree’s Celsius.
Swell Forecast 9th – 15th Dec, Not a great deal to look forward to over the coming week. Tuesday and Wednesday we see wave height peak around the head to head high plus range and then drop back down into the 1-2ft class through Thursday Friday. Then it’s going to do the yo-yo (up and down) thing for the remainder of the period but nothing over the 2-3ft+ range.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Kuta you will find that 1AU$=Rp7,700 – 1US$=Rp12,150 give or take 100 Rupiah.
I also just wanna refresh ya’s about what baliwaves.com is all about. We’re not trying to flog ya’s surf trips or sell ya’s anything for that matter, we’re just trying to show ya’s how good it is here in Bali / Indonesia for a surfing holiday. We want you guys to come over and have a ball and then go back home and tell your friends how good it is.
