****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** Good morning surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for another Sunday Session and as you all know by now the only daily surf report on the net since ’99.
As you can see in these latest photos I snapped yesterday the boys and I from here at Home Base made an afternoon run across to Serangan on the East Coast. The waves were a fairly consistant 2-4ft and the wind was pretty much straight off-shore coming out of the WSW @ 7-12knot. Arriving at 3.30Pm there was around 60 surfers spread over the 3-4 different sections. The boys surfed through till 6.30Pm and then enjoyed a cold Bintang before we made our way back to Home Base.
This morning , well there’s not going to be any chance of me going for a surf recon of the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. Firstly because of the rain that started last night and is still falling now at 7.30Am. Secondly the wind is howling out of the West @ 10-14knot so she’d be like a big old washing machine along the West Coast of Bali.
Tide wise today the first will be a 1.8mtr High around 11.00Am and then a 0.8mtr Low around 4.30Pm
Looking for a wave today I think the best conditions will be back over at Serangan due to the strong WSW wind. But I would also expect that’s where you’ll find just about every other man and his bemo driver today. We might make another late afternoon run over if the crew are up for it. After all it was Saturday night last night….
Weather wise , cloudy & grey with lots more rain to come. Heading for a maximum temperature of around 26-27 degree’s Celsius.
