****MORNING SURF UP-DATE**** And another big welcome to all you surfers tuning into the baliwaves.com for another look at todays surfing and weather conditions here on the beautiful little holiday island of Bali.
This morning I walked outside to see a big change in weather and nothing but blue sky for the best part of it. It was surprising especially after the heavy rain we had last night. But anyway I made it down for a surf check of the Outer reefs to find wave height had crept up into the 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. And it was almost surfable with the light Westerly that was blowing at 2-5knot. That was at 7.45Am, but now at 10.00Am the wind has increasd into the 5-10knot class and still mainly out of the West.
Tide wise today we had a full reef exposing 0.1mtr Low @ 7.00Am and then she’ll be filling back in for a 2.1mtr High around the 1.00Pm mark
Looking for a wave today , we’ll we should be heading back over to the East Coast after lunch to see whats happening at Serangan and to get you some new photos hopefully. I reckon early this morning there would have been a few takers surfing down at Uluwatu while the wind was calm enough. But from now on for the remainder of the day the best bet is going to be over on the East Coast between Nusa Dua and Keramas.
Weather wise , hot and humid with an expected top temperature of around 33 degree’s Celsius.
Ok that’s us for now but tune back in later on this evening and we should have some more quality photos for you. Have a good one and we hope to see you here in Bali this year.
Photo up-dates , Scott sent us another surf report and photos in from Burleigh Heads on Autralia’s Gold Coast. Plus I managed to load up over 100 photos into our January Surfing Gallery. So have a flick through those to give you some Bali Holiday inspiration.
