Hello folks and welcome back to your baliwaves.com for more surf and weather info from the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well first some good news, yesterday afternoon around 2.00Pm the wind swung around to the ESE blowing straight off-shore along Bali’s Premier West Coast and I’m sure there would have been a lot of happy surfers making the most of it. I was down on the beach infront of the Outer Reefs hanging out with the local fishermen and could see perfect little waves in the 2-3ft range peeling off on Middle Reef. So I can imagine Uluwatu would have been going right off.
This morning after one of the most fierce rain, wind, thunder and lightning storms hit us we are left wave height breaking in the 1-2ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Early this morning the wind was coming straight out of the West @ 4-8knot but then around 9.00Am swung more to the NNW and gearing back to around 3-5knot. There was infact one surfer making his way out to Kuta Reef to cash in on the semi clean conditions.
Tide wise today we started the day off with a reef exposing 0.1mtr Low @ 6.00Am and then she’ll be filling in for a solid 2.2mtr High around midday.
Weather wise we have a mostly sunny sky with some light cloud up high. So we’ll be in for a hot and humid day expecting a maximum temperature of around 30 degree’s Celsius.
Ok crew we hope you have a good one today, even if you are back at work. And forgive me for asking but….. It’s just about time for baliwaves.com to up-date our one and only working computer. If anyone can help us out getting a new machine we would be eternally grateful and at your service on your next visit to Bali. Our target would be just under AU$1000.00 thanks again !
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban you’ll find that 1AU$=Rp7,150 and 1US$=Rp10,850 give or take 100Rupiah depending on vender.
