Howdy folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves for the Sunday Session on Bali’s surf and weather conditions.
First up, this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height in the 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Even though I already new the wind was coming out of the West @ 5-8knot I still had to check ! I know that anyday in the next 6 weeks or so, we’ll see more clean surfing conditions here along the West Coast.
But not today, so as you may have noticed in these latest photos I made a run over to Serangan on the East Coast. Wave height at Serangan was still pushing shoulder to head high, with the very occasional slightly bigger set wave. Wind direction was blowing off-shore coming out of the West @ 7-11knot. Surfers in the water I’d have to say somewhere around the 100 mark. I’m pretty sure that Keramas would have been the place to be earlier through the morning.
Tide wise today we had a 0.3mtr Low @ 8.00Am and then a 2.1mtr High around 2.00Pm.
Weather wise it’s been a mainly hot and sunny day with the odd cloud drifting over us from time to time. Temperature wise it would have been 29-30 degree’s Celsius depending on location.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban you’ll find that 1AU$=Rp7,150 and 1US$=Rp11,150 give or take 100Rupiah depending on vender.
