Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com for the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
Today, and just the same as yesterday surfing conditions here along Bali’s West Coast are about as bad as it gets. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left is just a purely wind generated 1 foot slop. Wind direction this morning is coming out of the West @ 20knot+ and will more than likely swing more to the WSW around midday.
Tide wise today we had a 0.1mtr Low @ 7.00Am and then she’ll be running back in for a solid 2.5mtr High around the 1.00Pm mark.
Looking for a wave today, good question, maybe down at Green Bowl on the south eastern end of the island under the protection of the cliff you might find something breaking. Probably too windy for Nusa Dua. I might take a run over to Serangan later this afternoon as the tide starts to run back out and see whats happening there. The beach breaks of Secrets / Padang Galak might have a few shore breaks towards midday if the wind stays out of the West. Keramas would also have a few small waves breaking this morning but I do mean small.
Weather wise today we do have a blue sky and the outside temperature now @ 9.00Am would at least be around the 26 degree range, out of the wind of-course.
Swell Forecast; looking at the charts available for this region and they are calling for wave height to continue dropping through out today and into tomorrow. But then hopefully sometime late Sunday they are showing a a new small swell to start showing holding through Monday and starting to back off again through Tuesday.
Ok that’s about all we’ve got for you this morning but stay tuned because as soon as there’s some waves we’ll be all over them.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban you’ll find that 1AU$=Rp7,600 and 1US$=Rp11,850 give or take 100Rupiah depending on vender.
Best Regards from the No.1 surfing holiday destination that’s got it all, BALI, see ya’s here in 2009
