****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Well as ya’s can see in these current photos I snapped up along the beach breaks of Legian wave height is still pretty small. Photos 1-3 was probably the biggest wave that came through all day and it was in the chest high range. When I arrived at 11.00am the wind was still clean off-shore but when the Tradewind kicked in surfing conditions become a little bit bumpy and cross-shore. There was around 35 surfers on this particular peak and the average wave was just closing out. As the tide got closer to the top of the tide there wasn’t even a ripple showing on the Outer Reefs. Ok folks hang in there and hopefully tomorrow we’ll see a little bit more swell around the island.
****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Morning folks and welcome back to your baliwaves.com for the heads up on todays surfing and weather conditions from the happy little holiday island of Bali.
This mornings 7.00am surf check of the Outer Reefs was showing a slight bump in wave height, with 1-2 footers (knee to waist high plus) breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Not much of an improvement but it is an indicator that there could be a few head high waves breaking down on the southern end of the island at Uluwatu. And I’d say as the tide starts to fill back in around 10.00am the beach breaks between Half Way and Legian could also be worth a look. Canggu is another possibility for chest to head high waves. And further up the highway at Balian I’m sure they are getting some fun sized waves this morning.
Surfing conditions are clean and smooth with only a very light ESE wind @ 1-3knot, but it is expected to increase in strength through out the day.
I won’t be making to much of an effort to go hunting waves today but I will head down along the beach breaks to see if I can find some worthy waves and shoot ya’s a few new photos.
Our daily sms surf report from the G-Land Surf Camp was calling chest to head high plus waves breaking on Kongs and no surfers in the water at 7.00am
Tidal info says that first up today we had a 0.6mtr Low @ 6.00am and then it’ll be fat city again with a 2.5mtr High around the 1.00pm mark.
Weather wise; After some heavy rain through the early hours of the morning we are left with another clear blue sky and more perfect beach weather for the vacationers here in Bali. Heading for a maximum temperature of around 30 degree’s celsius.
I’ll also re-check what the dollar exchange rates are doing later this morning and fill ya’s in on them next report.
Ok then crew have a good one today even if your not here on vacation in Bali and stay tuned to the one and only original Bali surf report.
Cheers
Slim

Just a thought; the interface that was used yesterday for the photos with all the images laid out, and a Flash kind of viewer was way better than this mode I think. The other loads faster and you can select what you want to see rather than going through all the images.
See ya!
