****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to your baliwaves.com daily surf and weather report coming to you live from the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well what a let down ! With our expected new swell turning out to be a bit of a fizzer. This mornings 7.00am surf check on the Outer Reefs was very dissapointing to see wave height already backed off down into the 2-4ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. I was hoping to see a lot more size but not to be. But I guess even though there were still some nice little shoulder to head high waves wrapping onto Kuta Reef through the mid morning High tide. And then Middle Reef was producing some fun looking head to head high plus waves as the tide started running out early to mid afternoon.
Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the ESE-SE off-shore Tradewind kicking in early this morning.
These latest photos I’ve loaded up along with todays report are courtesy of our good friend Hendra and his surf photography team down at Uluwatu. According to Hendra Uluwatu had also dropped off in size from yesterday but there were still plenty of 3-5 footers breaking on the Main Peak and Temple sections.
Our daily sms surf report from the G-Land Surf Camp was calling for wave height to be still showing in the 4-6ft range on Money Tree’s and the Launching Pad. Crowd wise over at G-Land there were around 30 surfers spread along the reef at the time of this report.
Weather wise here in Bali today, more blue sky and sunshine with a maximum temperature of around 31 degree’s Celsius.
Swell forecast is now saying that wave height should hold in the current state over Monday before backing off late on Tuesday. Then continue to fade out through until late next Thursday when our next swell is predeicted to arrive.
Ok crew that’s about it for the Sunday Session (daily surf report) 27 new photos on this report page and another bunch of bodyboarding photos has been added to it’s section as well. And if your planning a trip to Bali this year (and I know you are !!) feel free to drop me an email if you want a helping hand organising anything.
See ya’s again tomorrow for more Bali surf and weather info along with more photos of the best of what Bali has to offer (from a surfers perspective)
