****MORNING SURF UP-DATE****
Good morning boys and girls and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for another look at whats going down surf and weather wise here on the happy little holiday island of Bali. And just before we get into it I’ve decided from now on, Photo No.1 will be a free SCREEN SAVER for your window on the World.
Ok I was down the beach at 6.15am this morning to do the daily check on surfing conditions on the Outer Reefs of Tuban, namely Kuta Reef, Middle Reef & Airport Left. We are expecting an increase in wave height anytime in the next 24hrs but it hasn’t happened yet. Wave height between KR and AL was showing in the 2-3ft range with the wind light out of the North @ 1knot. There were already 4 surfers making their way out to Middle Reef and it was looking ok out there with the tide on the bottom of a 0.7mtr Low and head high surf. As the tide pushes back in for an expected 2.5mtr High around midday Airport left and possibly Kuta Reef will have some better shape. Plus the ESE-SE Tradewind should kick in anytime from now and improve conditions.
Looking for a wave this morning you’d be able to find clean conditions on either side of the island before the Tradey kicks in. On the East Coast Nusa Dua to Keramas and here on the West Coast Uluwatu would be the best bet for bigger and better waves.
Our daily sms surf report from the G-land Surf Camp came through @ 7.00am (that’s 6.00am in East Java) calling wave height in the 4-5ft class coming out of the SW and hitting the top end of Money Tree’s. No surfers in the water at the time of report. We should have another load of photos arriving from G-land later today !
Weather wise here in Tuban this morning we have had a few drops of rain and the sky is still cloudy with the chance of a few drops more. But we should be back to blue sky by midday with an expected top temperature of around 29 degree’s Celsius.
Ok crew enjoy these current photos courtesy of our Photography Team (Hendra) down at Uluwatu, we’ve also dropped a handful of new bodybpoarding shots on your page as well and we’ll have yet another load of photos and reports for ya’s again tomorrow. And I gotta say that there’s no where, and I mean absolutely no where, are you going to get more photos of your favourite surfing destination (Bali) other than here on the one and only original Bali surf website of baliwaves.com.
Don’t forget if your planning a trip to Bali this year (and I know you are !!) feel free to drop me an email if you want a helping hand organising anything.
