Yesterday I had organised to do a photo shoot for a friend of mine so last night we organised to meet in the morning and head north. I wont tell you exactly where we went other than in my opinion its a little gem on the west coast. Its definelty NOT a secret spot but it is fickle and the crowds are still fairly managable. For myself and the other crew that surf there we’d like to keep it that way a little longer.
We arrived around 8am and hung out for a couple of hours. The waves were in the 3-5ft range and hitting the reef just right. Bowling on the the take off then running off long enough to allow a number of wacks to the lip before you had to kick out.
The sky went overcast and there were a few spots of rain towards the end of our session but it was a memorable couple of hours with some great waves arriving for the weekend. Tomorrow I think I will try and get a couple of them myself so in the mean time enjoy these fantastic waves that beautiful Bali is delivering for us lucky enough to be over here..
till next time
Scott.
